Von Tally, dem jetzigen Macher der AWE-Mod, gibt es schon eine Ankündigung für AWE5, der AWE-Mod für CoD5:
Interessant ist auch, dass Zeroy, bekannt durch seine Maps Pripyat und Steamlab und der RSM-Mod, zum AWE-Team stösst.
Das wird auf jeden Fall eine Bereicherung sein und lässt hoffen, dass die AWE-Mod noch abwechslungsreicher werden wird.

Base Assault
Already have a fully working gametype ready to go. Just waiting to see if COD:WaW allows you to dynamically spawn solid models. I've heard it does, and this will be a God-send to modders like myself. As such, solid models will give this custom Base Assault gametype the final cherry on the top.
Domination Onslaught
DOM is missing from COD:WaW, and is replaced with Treyarch's new one - WAR. This was in COD3 and is basically a 3 flag version of "Capture and Hold" from Day of Defeat.
As COD4 DOM is not in COD:WaW, AWE5 will add COD4 DOM back into it, but will also add the DOM features that IW left out of COD4, namely the ability to option on having to capture the flags in sequence.
In this mode, players cannot jump about capturing flags at random. They have to be captured in sequence: either A, B and C if you are allied; Or C, B, and A if you are axis.
AWE5 DOM will also have up to 8 flags, depending on map size (and the RGN Dev team plan some HUGH ones for both Conquest and Base Assault).
For those of you that know it, this is the gametype "Onslaught" from Unreal Tournament 2003/2004.
Behind Enemy Lines
The classic vCOD gametype makes a welcome return to the COD series. Revamped, with lots of new features, this is a gametype where a certain amount of allied players are randomly chosen to form a small team, and are placed in hostile enemy territory. Their mission is simply to stay alive for a set period of time.

Of course, there will be plenty of other new features. These are just the ones I know for sure will make it into AWE5.
