Spawnpoints
I know alot of people are trying to add them via right click>mp but this will only get your the global intermission (which is required) aswell as this you'll want normal spawnpoints. In the mp_test map you can find dm/tdm spawns half in the floor (big grids worth of them) you can just copy these into your map and place them around.
This is all you need spawn-wise. However, if you want your map to run in mp theirs two ways to do this, you can prefix your map with mp_ so mp_mapname this tells the engine its a multiplayer game & to run it in mp. Alternatively you can skip that, you can just call you map by its name without a prefix (for example mods would be hob_mapname, swat_mapname, rfw_mapname) so the engine would interpret them as sp maps. All you do then is once its compiled place it into the maps/mp folder. Open up cod2 mp, create a server (unpure) and load any map (make sures its a gametype your map is compatible with then just /map mapnamehere and click enter in console.
It will load with a stretched checkered screen unless you created a loading screen for it already.
